2011 Army All American Bowl is Saturday The annual Army All American Bowl is this Saturday at 1:00 pm Eastern on NBC. The best high-school all star bowl will feature a number of highly rated recruits with 14 making college declarations (commitments) during the game. This game has featured many outstanding players that had great college careers and very good NFL careers. Ted Ginn Jr, Chris Beanie Wells, and Terrelle Pryor were all MVPs of the Army All American Bowl their senior years of high-school. By Steve Patterson Played in the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas, the Army All American Bowl promises to be a great showing of some of the best college prospects for 2011. The East team will feature three quarterbacks including Teddy Bridgewater, Jacoby Brissett, and Phillip Ely. Bridgewater is a dual-threat quarterback and considered the 8th best nationally by some ranking services and has already committed to Louisville. The West Team also has three quarterbacks including Cody Kessler, Bubba Staling, and JW Walsh. All three have already selected their colleges, USC, Nebraska, and Oklahoma State respectively. Rivals.com rates Kessler the 2nd best pro-style quarterback in the country, giving him 4 out of 5 stars. The fourteen recruits to make declarations during the game include defensive back Wayne Lyons, defensive tackle Viliami Moala, safety Damian Swann, wide receiver Tobias Singleton, line backer Lateek Townsend, wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr, wide receiver Nickolas Brassell, linebacker Kris Frost, defensive back Gerod Holliman, running back Harvey Langi, linebacker Colt Lyerla, defensive back James Sample, offensive lineman Donovan Smith, and defensive end Ishaq Williams.
