Chad Hagan, defensive back from Canon-McMillan (PA) visited Ohio State and after 90 minutes, committed to play for Coach Tressel and the Buckeyes. Hagan had offers from Ohio State, Wisconsin,, Michigan, North Carolina State, and Illinois, along with a few others. Wisconsin was his second choice, but he knew once he had an offer from Ohio State that he would be a Buckeye.

After seeing Ohio State’s collection of Big Ten and National Championship rings, he feels he is ready to help Coach Tressel and the Buckeyes land some more hardware. Hagan will play safety for the Buckeyes and gives them size and strength in the secondary. He truly has the potential to have a huge impact on the defensive side of the ball as soon as he hits the playing field.
