Ohio State was able to pull Duron Carter out of St Thomas Aquinas last year and is now working on three of his teammates for the 2010 class. Of course Carter's father, Chris Carter, was a wide receiver for Ohio State before starting his long and successful NFL career. With the help of Duron, great facilities, a winning tradition, good academics, and popular coaches, Ohio State has shown interest in Brandon Linder, Lamarcus Joyner, and Cody Riggs with the hope of pulling them all out of Fort Lauderdale. Film: Brandon Linder - A Highly Recruited 2010 Offensive Lineman By Steve Patterson Brandon Linder is a Top 250 Rivals prospect at the center position but also played center during his last two years at St Thomas Aquinas. He is open to playing either position in college although most schools are looking at him to play left tackle. He has a large number of offers with some of his favorites including Miami, Florida, Notre Dame, Alabama, Tennessee, and Ohio State. He grew up a Miami (FL) fan but is staying open to all schools at this time. Linder hasn't had too much contact with Ohio State to this point so there is some speculation about his offer being solid. But Linder confirms that he does have an offer and feels playing at Ohio State with Carter, Joyner and Riggs would be a great situation. He hopes to narrow down his list of colleges to a top five at any time now and then scheduling visits to get a better feel for the coaching staffs and the programs before making a selection. |
