Ohio State has been heavily recruiting in this spring season, and their most recent addition has been the new commitment of the cornerback Gambrell from competing schools. Gambrell accepted OSU’s offer quickly, and it was his second offer overall. He reveals that he grew up as a fan of the Buckeyes, easily influencing his decision. In addition to football, Gambrell also excels in track in his high school, so OSU fans can expect to see an increased speed and stamina in his football game due to his combination of skills.

Gambrell seems to be a jack of all trades as of yet, playing tailback, wingback, safety, quarterback, and slot receiver for his current high school team. Many fans feel that he could potentially be the best player in the entire area of Toledo, making him a top choice for OSU for the 2011 season. As a football recruit, he has the ideal build, speed, and especially tackling ability to more than excel as a Buckeye player!
