Big Junior Day for Ohio State Recruiting
Two weekends in a row, Jim Tressel and the Ohio State Football Staff has assembled some of their biggest 2012 recruiting targets for on campus visits that coincided with Ohio State basketball games in Columbus. Sevon Pittman and Frank Epitropoulos might be the biggest two recruits that will be on campus that Ohio State hopes to land before National Letter of Intent Signing Day 2012.

Pittman is a defensive end from Canton McKinley in Ohio that is leaning towards joining the Buckeyes class that currently stands at five players. Epitropoulos at 6’3” and having 4.5 speed, is a great wide receiver prospect that is also a legacy recruit. Both his father and his uncle played for Ohio State.
Pittman has an offer but wants to take some time to look at other schools and could wait until the summer to make a decision. Epitropoulos currently does not have an offer but could receive an offer this weekend. The Buckeyes 2012 class should be complete with 20 commits which is smaller than their most recent 2011 class. The size of the class limits the number of players they can take at different positions.
Current Ohio State commit Kyle Kalis will be on campus with two of his classmates from Lakewood St Edwards. Greg Kuhar is a defensive tackle currently being recruited strongest by Michigan. Sam Grant is at the top of the list of tight ends in the state of Ohio for 2012. Niether player currently holds an Ohio State offer.
