Little Elm Cornerback Terrance Brooks committed to Ohio State at the end of June after making all five official visits to college campuses. The 4 star prospect is the 8th best cornerback in the country and the 13th best player in the state of Texas. He joins Texas recruits quarterback Quinn Ewers and wide receiver Caleb Brown in the 2022 Ohio State Class. Terrance Brooks OffersAt 6’1” and 195 lbs. the Little Elm star had offers from 40 schools including Ohio State, Alabama, Florida, Texas and Oregon. Brooks is considered to have a good build for the position with great length. He is a ball hawk on the field, and has shown the ability to make something happen with the ball after an interception. Ran track in high school so he has good speed with the ability to stay with receivers. He was recruited by defensive backfield coach Kerry Coombs at Ohio State and was given an offer just two weeks before making a decision. Ohio State had been looking at Toriano Pride who selected Clemson for this college destination. Cornerbacks in the class include Jaheim Singletary, Jyaire Brown, and Ryan Turner in addition to Brooks. Brooks made the announcement during an All American Bowl ceremony in Texas.
