In just one week after the day Ohio State signed the second overall 2017 recruiting class, they are trying to get the 2018 top talent to come to the school.

Jaiden Woodbey, a four-star safety, recently visited Ohio State University for the junior day hosted by the Buckeyes. Woodbey shared via Twitter that he will be joining Urban Meyer and the team along with another Ohio State University recruit, Wyatt Davis.

Jaiden Woodbey is a top prospect out of the class of 2018 and he has earned some twenty offers for full scholarships from top schools that play on Saturday afternoons. Hailing from Upland, California, Woodbey, who is six-feet, two-inches and 205 pounds, was pursued by Oklahoma, Alabama, Washington and Nebraska. USC, a school where some of his family members attended, also pursued him.

Woodbey worked with David and the team from St. John Bosco Braves to earn an impressive record of 13-2. Woodbey played strong throughout the season and he ended his junior year with four interceptions and seventy tackles.

Woodbey is the 32nd overall prospect of the 2018 class and is the third ranked safety. Some recruiting sources share that Woodbey has given three commits verbally to Meyers and the Ohio State Buckeyes. Along with Brian Snead and Emory Jones, Jaiden Woodbey's commit brings Ohio State to the 10th spot in team recruiting rankings from 19th place.
