Denzel Ward Is Ready For The Buckeyes

Denzel Ward

It may take a race to prove who is the fastest, but Denzel Ward may be even faster than Dontre Wilson. Ward says he came up short of a win during the Smokehouse race due to a bad jump. He was disappointed that he did not win this camp drill, and he hoped to do better than his posted 4.40 seconds in the 40-yard dash as well. Denzel Ward was smiling despite these results since it truly was an exceptional day for him.

Ward had just left the Woody Hayes Athletic Center after obtaining and accepting an offer from Ohio State to become the newest member of the 2015 Buckeye recruiting class. Coach Urban Meyer was well acquainted with his speed despite his latest running performance.

Hill chose Ohio State over a number of top schools such as Michigan State, Kentucky, West Virginia, and Cincinnati. As a top five prospect, Hill was a hot commodity and Ohio State certainly worked hard to land the four star talent running back for the 2016 season.
