Justin Hilliard And The Buckeyes

Justin Hilliard

Justin Hilliard the five star linebacker (Cincinnati St. Xavier) visited the Buckeyes at the weekend. This is one of many visits Hilliard has made to Columbus in the past few years.

Justin Hilliard (6-2 230) is a coveted player, he has had offers from Notre Dame, Michigan State, Michigan, Georgia, Clemson, Florida State and Ohio State.

247Sports and ESPN rank Hilliard as the nation's number one outside linebacker, the Scout puts him in fourth position. Rivals also view him as the nation's number one inside linebacker.

Justin Hilliard is an in-state prospect; he is top of the 2015 Ohio State recruiting board. Some fans may already know that he spent time chatting with the OSU freshman linebacker Raekwon McMillan during the visit.

Hilliard's visit went well and he plans to visit gain in the near future. Justin is breaking out a top five list and the Buckeyes will inevitably be mentioned on the list. Other teams to keep an eye on include Iowa, Alabama, Notre Dame and Michigan. Justin Hilliard has a brother who is an incoming freshman for the Hawkeyes.

The Buckeyes stand a good chance and Hilliard is familiar with the team. Ohio State stands to have six linebackers who are eligible as freshmen in 2014. It appears that Curtis Grant may be the only player to go. This is why we shouldn't expect yet another 4-linebacker haul to equal the last couple of years. Justin Hilliard is the wildcard but this isn't likely to make him feel differently.
