Alex Bookser Slotted For OSU
Offensive Tackle Alex Bookser, is a 295 lbs offensive line prospect being recruited by Ohio State for their 2014 class. Thanks to Bookser's stats, the player reportedly got a verbal offer from OSU earlier this year. With offensive linemen Kyle Trout, Jamarco James, and Marcelys Jones already in the fold for OSU in the class, the coaching staff is looking to get Alex Bookser in their dream class for 2014, reports say.
Alex Bookser, a player from Mt. Lebanon High School, is being considered for a spot in the team along with other talented players the likes of Demetrius Knox, Jermaine Eluemunor, and Chad Mavety.
Ohio State University is not the only team who is after Alex Bookser though. Pittsburgh and Penn State along with Michigan State, Northwestern, and Alabama are offering the 6'6 offensive tackler to suit up for them.
Because of his talent, Alex Bookser has found himself in the 198th place in the whole of the United States based on composite rankings from 247Sports giving Bookser a boost in getting in university. He is also in such a high regard that Scout.com ranks the Mt. Lebanon junior as the 11th tackle in the United States today. The four-star player has proven time and again how good he is in both offensive and defensive play as seen in his games. In fact, the young man was the main reason why his team won this year.
Slotted for Ohio State's Dream 14, he visited Ohio State recently. According to other reports, Mr. Bookser also plans on visiting Northwestern, and Rutgers & Penn State. He says however that he knows about Meyer's winning history.
