4-Star Wide Receiver Noah Brown Becomes A Buckeye

Noah Brown, a 4-star wide receiver from Pope John XXIII is now a Buckeye and will be attending The Ohio State University and playing his football there in 2014. Brown is 6 feet 2 inches and weighs 220 pounds. He made a commitment to play for the Buckeyes after spending the better part of the weekend with the commander and chief of the Buckeyes Urban Meyer.

Brown Chose the Buckeyes over the Rutgers after paying a visit to the Rutgers a number of times. He had also made two previous visits to the Ohio State University and when the choice between the Rutgers and the Buckeye came up, he opted for the Buckeye. At the Friday Night Lights visit in July he stated that the Buckeyes are his favorite school.

This and the time spent with the chief of the Buckeyes Urban Meyer probably had a stronger appeal in his decision to join Ohio State University. In August, the Scarlet Knights seemed to have won him over when he and his team mate Ryan Izzo made two visits to the Rutgers campus within three days. Brown could have become a Rutgers in that time but was advised to explore the options before him before making any commitments.

While brown had many other offers, his recruitment makes him the 18th member in Ohio States recruitment for the 2014 season. He joins four other players who are wide receivers like him including 5-star Curtis Samuel, 4-star potential Parris Campbell, Terry McLaurin and Malik Hooker. The recruiting policy at Ohio State University is ranked second behind Alabama providing Ohio State Football with a wealth of talent.
