Ohio State has a great team for every kind of sport. In order to achieve greatness and success in every season, Ohio State has put a great amount of attention on their high school football recruiting and also the high school basketball recruiting. The fanatic enthusiasts of Ohio State sports really want their teams to be the best in every sport. Not only do they wish to see a promising basketball team, they also like to support a football team that can win national title trophies each year.

Ohio State Football Recruiting

Meyer has turned out to be a tenacious recruiter. He always has his eyes on the talents needed to build a much better and stronger team to face a new season. Meyer and his staff never seem to show any sign of slowing down when discovering the great talents to make a better team.

The Ohio State football team has sealed a number of commitments from excellent talents this year. Recently, a five-star defensive end named Nick Bosa has given his verbal commitment to this team. The Buckeyes ambition does not end there, the team is still interesting in bringing in his duo, Jonathon Cooper.

Defensive tackle Antwuan Jackson and Brandon Burton have made their official visits to the Ohio State campus lately. Those visits convinced these two four-star players to sign. In addition, the Buckeyes have a great plan to land a five-star defensive tackle in Dexter Lawrence. When Lawrence finally does choose this ambitious football team, he can make a great combination along side Cooper and Bosa. However, there are still many rumors linking Lawrence with Clemson and The Florida State football team. Meyer also has his eyes on Binjimen Victor but the Buckeyes have to compete against many other teams like Tennessee, Florida and West Virginia to get the signature of this five-star player. One thing for sure, getting quality signings for the team will come with plenty of challenges to the coaching staff.

Ohio State Basketball Recruiting

Ohio State keeps showing their ambition in the high school basketball recruiting as well. Head Coach Thad Matta has done a great job in bringing in a number of excellent signings to the team. Thanks to his efforts and his staff, the Buckeyes have landed the services of four 4-star players including Daniel Giddens (center), Austin Grandstaff (shooting guard), point guard A.J. Harris and small forward Mickey Mitchell. Thad Matta is committed to adding more depth at every position on the team going forward.

The signings of those excellent players are not enough for the Ohio State basketball team if they care about being the Number 1 class on signing day. There are three outstanding players that will complete the combination of the team. Recruiting them would make this team perfect and a lot stronger of course. A great addition to the team may come from Carlton Bragg. This fully talented player is what Matta needs to lift up the performance of the team. Ivan Tabb and Doral More also offer great prospects to the Ohio State basketball team. The four-star and five-star prospects have what it takes to complete the existing commits.
