2009 Prospect

Rated as the 49th Best Ohio Prospect in 2009 and the 42nd Best Tight-end in the country, Wozniak garnered a lot of attention from colleges throughout the mid-west. “I’m a hard worker and a team player.” He told us about his best qualities as a football player. As a junior he caught 22 passes for the Loveland Tigers totaling 331 yards. He also played defensive end but is focused on offense at the next level.

“The highlight of my high school career was walking off Loveland Football Stadium for the last time with all the seniors.” He told us about finishing is high school career and the most memorable moment he experienced.

Wisconsin Stood Out

Wozniak made a number of visits to Camp Randall and was favoring the program going into this past summer. “I made many visits to Wisconsin and I thought it was a great place.” He explained to us. “I was looking for a great program, coaches I fit in with, an offense that liked to pass to the tight-end, and a good school.” He committed in June after attending Wisconsin’s summer camp and receiving an offer from the Badgers.

He likes how the Badgers throw to their tight-ends quite a bit and the relationship he formed with offensive line coach Joe Rudolph. “What I like about Wisconsin is it has all the qualities I was looking for (great program, coaches I fit in with, an offense that liked the tight-end and a good school) and more.”
