Christopher Worley Commits to Ohio State

The Glenville pipeline to Ohio State continues as 2013 out linebacker Christopher Worley commits to the Buckeyes over the past weekend. At 6’3” 190lbs, he has speed and hits well from the linebacker position. He could play safety or linebacker at OSU and became the 22nd member of a class that could reach 25. He is rated anywhere from a 3 to a 4 star by different recruiting services, he is considered between the 28th and the 55th best at his position nationally. Long thought to be an Ohio State lean, his commitment came at the beginning of his official visit.

Worley had offers from Michigan State, Arkansas, West Virginia, Georgia Tech, Cincinnati, to name just a few. He could play his freshman year on special teams if not on the defensive side of the ball. Worley could also help the Buckeyes recruit 2014 recruits from Glenville including highly recruited Marshon Lattimore.

Christ Worley played 4 seasons at Ohio State starting 24 games and playing in a total of 50 games. He was a team captain as a senior. Played his best games against the teams biggest rivals, getting double digit tackle counts against Clemson, Oklahoma, and Michigan. Was drafted as a free agent by the Cincinnati Bengals and remains on their roster for his rookie season in the NFL.
