Tyquan Lewis Expected to Be An OSU Buckeye

One of the top defensive end recruits in the country for 2013 is making his college selection this afternoon at 4pm and North Carolina product Tyquan Lewis is expected to pick the Ohio State Buckeyes. The 6’4” 225lbs defensive end is also considering LSU and North Carolina but has favored OSU for some time.

Ohio State already has a stellar defensive line class for 2013 after an impressive pull in 2012 by Urban Meyer. This seems to be his favorite position to recruit. Among the stand outs is South Carolina defensive tackle Michael Hill how committed to Ohio State near the end of June. Meyer recruited North Carolina well when he was the head coach for Florida and continues to know the high school programs in the state.

Lewis is a top 15 defensive end in the country for 2013 according to Rivals.com and a four star recruit. At the end of July, Lewis and his mother visited Ohio State the week after they unofficially visited North Carolina. He has been considered an Ohio State lock for over a month now.
