Tristen Wallace Goes To The Buckeyes

The OSU Buckeyes once again were able to beef up their roster with the new recruit Tristen Wallace from DeSoto Texas High. Wallace showed incredible offensive brilliance in 2014 in his junior year. He enabled 6 touchdowns by connecting 41 of 61 passes for a total of 641 yards. He also scored 8 times on 64 rushing attempts to cover an additional 535 yards. The exceptional quarterback stands 6'3" and weighs 225lbs.

Wallace is the anchor of the DeSoto offense, leading the charge with his ability to pass the ball to any point on the field. This strong quarterback also has the skill to hold on to the ball and run. He may be big but he is able to move well and avoid incoming defense. His exploits have made people compare him to Cardale Jones of Ohio State. They have similar size and arm strength although Wallace is faster and better in the open field.

Scouts say that he can become very dangerous once he is able to polish his quarterbacking skills. They are very bullish on his future. For his part, Wallace said that he chose the Buckeyes because of its track record on developing quarterbacks. Everyone who went to the Ohio State got better and became successful which is what he wants to be.
