Columbus Ohio attracted many talented top-tier athletes this past weekend. People refer to Urban Meyer as "The Closer" for a very good reason.

On this day, Ohio State landed its fifth player for the 2017 roster. They were fortunate enough to receive a commitment from Westerville South's CB Marcus Williamson. They received a commitment from him while he was on campus for the Buckeye Spring Game. This was Williamson's second week on campus, and Kerry Coombs used this opportunity to recruit him in an aggressive manner.

Tennessee, Michigan, and Michigan State had their eye on Williamson as well. He received a lot of attention since he is considered the 5th ranked CB in the country.

When Marcus Williamson joins the team, Shaun Wade, the second-rated CB in the country, will be his teammate. This pair will create a defense that will be tough to overcome. The year 2017 is a year and a half away, but this duo is already creating a strong buzz around Ohio State.
