Corey Brown, Cardinal O'Hara, is Electric

Corey Brown, Cardinal O'Hara running back, is a capable of playing in multiple positions, both on defense and offence.  He is fast and has demonstrated the ability to get open and use his hands well.  On the football field he has shown not only speed, but also skills in making plays and a versatility that had coaches interested in him from Florida, Alabama, Notre Dame as well as Ohio State whom he ultimately signed with.

By Steve Patterson

Having earned recognition on the field since his sophomore year in high school, this player has received his share of awards and headlines.  His speed has been described as electric and has led him to a district title in track.  He has only gotten faster, with a 4.47 in the forty-yard dash recorded.  With nearly forty scholarship offers, during recruitment he focused on the coaching staff, academic help offered to players and the enthusiasm of the fans to make his decision.

The most impressive quality of this player is his talent to get into high gear quickly and ride it out making the required plays using his great hand-eye control. Corey Brown is elusive and with more experience will develop into an effective route-runner.  Being a bit thin, he needs to work out and gain some more upper body strength, which will help him improve his ability to catch away from his body.  Hopefully, he can stay healthy.  Recovered from his MCL injury, he needs to prove his durability and prove himself while at Ohio State.
