The day before his high school team starts practice for the upcoming season, Darryl Baldwin has announced that he will be part of the 2010 Buckeye football squad. “He called Coach Tressel and told him he is going to go to Ohio State,” said Solon coach Jim McQuaide. Baldwin is Ohio State’s ninth commitment for the 2010 recruiting class. With his size and strength, he will be huge asset to the Buckeyes as they continue their tradition of reloading year in and year out. Baldwin commented “Growing up in Ohio, I always followed Ohio State. I would watch them all the time and they are only about two hours from here.” Baldwin’s mom is also a fan of the Buckeyes. Baldwin commented “She would really like me to go to Ohio State.” Mom got her wish!
