Corner Canton Utah offensive tackle Branden Bowen is excited about his upcoming career at Ohio State, he told us recently. “I do not plan on taking any official visits at this time. I'm all about The Ohio State!” he said. Back in November he committed to Ohio State after de-committing from Utah. The official visit was the big turning point for the 3 star 2015 recruit. “When I was there for my official it felt like my home away from home. I love the environment at Ohio State.“

Considered the 61 best offensive tackle in the country and a 2015 recruit, Bowen feels that he can contribute early for the Buckeyes. “I was looking for a great education and a meaningful degree, a chance to play early, and a family-like environment.” he explained when we spoke with him.

Winning the National Championship didn’t hurt the recruiting for OSU, and Bowen knew the team was special back in November when he made the switch; predicting they had what was needed to win it all.

A late arrival to the sport he has grown a lot lately and thinks the coaches at Ohio State are perfect for his development. “My best attributes are my IQ, my effort, and my athleticism.” Known for his love of the weight room, he will be a powerful 6-7 315 lbs. tackle for the Buckeyes soon.
